Anti-PTA campaign in Hambantota

COLOMBO: Anti-PTA islandwide petition campaign launched from Sri Lanka’s northern Kankasanthurai has reached the southern Hambantota district, marking the final day of human rights activists’ journey.

The mobile signature campaign travelled earlier through Eravur on its way to the Badulla District.

Former state minister Ali Zahir Moulana placed his signature at the event.

This campaign was launched in KKS, Jaffna, and traveled across the country before it ends in Hambantota.

TNA MPs M. A. Sumanthiran and R. Shanakiyan played a leading role in the campaign to demand the repeal of the Prevention of Terrorism Act.
