President Arrives in Germany

President Anura Kumara Disanayake, who departed the country for an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, has arrived at Berlin Brandenburg International Airport.

The official welcome ceremony, hosted by German President Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, was to take place this afternoon at Bellevue Palace in Berlin.

President Disanayake was scheduled to hold official talks with President Steinmeier after the ceremony.

Accompanying the President on this visit are Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijith Herath, along with a delegation of senior government officials.
