Sri Lankan shares close flat

Sri ‌Lankan shares closed largely flat on Wednesday.

The CSE All ​Share index settled up 0.05% at 23,703.10.

Industrial Asphalts and ACME Printing were the top percentage gainers on the CSE All Share index, rising 25% and 15.3%, respectively.

Mercantile ⁠Shipping ​and Abans ⁠Finance were the top percentage losers on the index, shedding 9.2% and 6.5%, respectively.

Trading volume on the CSE ⁠All Share index fell ‌to ‌133.1 million shares from ​152.5 ‌million in the previous ‌session.

The equity market’s turnover rose to 4.02 billion Sri Lankan rupees ($13.00 million) from ‌3.69 billion rupees in the previous session, according ⁠to ⁠exchange data.

Foreign investors were net sellers, offloading stocks worth 114.2 million rupees, while domestic investors were net buyers, purchasing shares worth 3.98 billion rupees, the data showed.
