Vijay urges children to pester parents to vote for TVK

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam president C. Joseph Vijay, said the people of Tamil Nadu have given him everything, and he entered politics only with a sense of gratitude to serve them and would not yield to the pressure of “anti-people fascist forces.”

In a statement addressing the people of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Vijay alleged that from the very day he entered politics, the DMK, which he described as his party’s political enemy and an “anti-people evil force,” and the BJP, which he called an ideological enemy to his party and a “divisive force,” contesting along with “many others,” had been exerting enormous pressure on him.

According to him, his party commands an overwhelming support from the people of Tamil Nadu, particularly women and youngsters. He said that in this election, people will show those who mocked TVK, as well as the entire nation, that his party’s growth and impact cannot be contained.

He urged people to turn up in large numbers and vote for his party on April 23.

H appealed to children (who are not eligible to vote) to urge their adult family members to vote for the ‘whistle’ symbol, just as they would pester them to buy ‘Kinder Joy’ (chocolate).
