SMB ‌Finance and ‌Paragon ⁠Ceylon: Top percentage gainers

Sri Lankan shares closed flat on Tuesday, as gains in real estate and materials offset losses in information technology stocks.

The CSE All-Share index settled at 23,015.32, up from 23,011.72 the previous day.

SMB ‌Finance and ‌Paragon ⁠Ceylon ​were the ⁠top percentage gainers on the CSE All-Share index, rising 33.33% and 12.65%, respectively.

Trading volume on the index ⁠fell to 158.6 million ‌shares ‌from 185.3 million in ​the previous ‌session.

The equity market’s ‌turnover fell to 3.67 billion Sri Lankan rupees ($11.4 million) from 4.93 billion rupees in ‌the previous session, according to exchange data.

Foreign ⁠investors ⁠were net sellers, offloading stocks worth 552.4 million rupees, while domestic investors were net buyers, purchasing shares worth 3.48 billion rupees, the data showed.
