Secretariat Organises Dengue Prevention Shramadana
A Shramadana (community clean-up campaign) organized by the Presidential Secretariat in parallel with the National Dengue Prevention Program was carried out.
The initiative was implemented to encourage government institutions to support maintaining a clean environment to prevent the rapid spread of dengue fever across the country.
The clean-up campaign was conducted from the vicinity of the Presidential Secretariat, along the Beira Lake and Baladaksha Mawatha, up to Temple Trees.
Among those who participated were Chief of Presidential Staff Prabath Chandrakeerthi, Senior Additional Secretary to the President Roshan Gamage, Secretary to the Prime Minister Pradeep Saputhanthri, as well as officials and staff of the Presidential Secretariat and the Prime Minister’s Office.
