New Secretary Appointed

New Secretary Appointed to the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed Eng. (Dr.) Asiri Karunawardena as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development.

The letter of appointment was presented to him at the Presidential Secretariat by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.

Prior to this appointment, Eng. (Dr.) Asiri Karunawardena served as the Director General of the National Building Research Organization (NBRO).
