Key role for V. Radhakrishnan in council
V. Radhakrishnan MP to Represent Tamil Progressive Alliance at Political Council of Tamil-Speaking People, says TPA Leader Mano Ganesan
COLOMBO: The Presidium of the Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA), at its recent meeting, resolved to nominate V. Radhakrishnan, MP, deputy leader of the TPA and president of the Up-Country People’s Front, as the alliance’s representative to the Political Council of the Tamil-Speaking People (PCTSP).
The TPA has also appointed Bharath Arulsamy, a member of the TPA Politburo, to serve on the council and assist MP V. Radhakrishnan in discharging his responsibilities.
Since the inception of the PCTSP, TPA Leader Mano Ganesan has represented the alliance at its deliberations.
In view of his expanded national responsibilities, the TPA Presidium has decided to transfer this responsibility to MP V. Radhakrishnan, while ensuring the alliance’s continued active engagement in the council.
The announcement was made in a media statement issued by TPA Leader Mano Ganesan.
