New Governor of the Central Province

Dr. Harsha Suranga, a Consultant Community Physician who has been appointed as the new Governor of the Central Province, was sworn in before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake this afternoon (05) at the Presidential Secretariat.

Dr Harsha Suranga has served as an immunization specialist with the World Health Organization in several countries and has also served as a Consultant Community Physician for the Kandy District.
