Workshop on Developing Institutional Codes of Ethics

A one-day workshop on developing Institutional Codes of Ethics was held recently at Temple Trees under the leadership of Secretary to the President Dr Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.

The workshop was organized as the second phase of a program targeting the 244 Internal Affairs Units established within State institutions.

The workshop was conducted with resource contributions from the Head of the Bureau for Promoting Integrity and Additional Secretary to the President, Chandima Wickramasinghe, and Senior Additional Secretary to the President, K. Prasanna Chandith. Heads of Internal Affairs Units and Integrity Officers representing Government Departments, statutory institutions, Provincial Ministries and Provincial Departments participated in the workshop.

In addition, officials from the Provincial Ministries and Departments of the Northern, Eastern, North Central and Uva Provinces joined the workshop online.
