Sri Lankan shares close flat
Sri Lankan shares closed largely flat on Wednesday.
The CSE All Share index settled up 0.05% at 23,703.10.
Industrial Asphalts and ACME Printing were the top percentage gainers on the CSE All Share index, rising 25% and 15.3%, respectively.
Mercantile Shipping and Abans Finance were the top percentage losers on the index, shedding 9.2% and 6.5%, respectively.
Trading volume on the CSE All Share index fell to 133.1 million shares from 152.5 million in the previous session.
The equity market’s turnover rose to 4.02 billion Sri Lankan rupees ($13.00 million) from 3.69 billion rupees in the previous session, according to exchange data.
Foreign investors were net sellers, offloading stocks worth 114.2 million rupees, while domestic investors were net buyers, purchasing shares worth 3.98 billion rupees, the data showed.
