Champions League final: Bayern Munich beats Paris Saint-Germain 1-0

Bayern Munich were crowned European champions for the sixth time by beating Paris St Germain 1-0 thanks to a second-half header from former PSG youth academy graduate Kingsley Coman in an absorbing Champions League final on Sunday.

Coman admitted that he felt “a little heartache” after his goal ended his boyhood club PS’Gs dreams of conquering Europe.

PSG must go for yet another year without the top European club title after Neymar and Kylian Mbappe had lackluster performances in Sunday’s match.

France international Coman appeared at the back post to score the decisive goal in the 59th minute as Bayern became the first team to lift the Champions League with a 100 percent record.
