Softlogic Finance, Singhe Hospitals: Top ​percentage ‌gainers ⁠

Sri Lankan ‌shares closed nearly flat on Friday as losses in IT and ​consumer discretionary stocks outweighed gains in health care and material stocks.

The CSE All-Share index settled down 0.09% at 21,129.21

Softlogic Finance PLC and ‌Singhe Hospitals ‌PLC were the top ​percentage ‌gainers on ​the CSE ⁠All-Share index, rising 12.7% and 8.3%, respectively.

Cargo Boat Development Company PLC and Asia Asset Finance PLC were the top percentage losers on the ⁠index, falling 11.2% and ‌11.1%, respectively.

Trading volume on ​the index ‌rose to 117.1 million shares from ‌31.4 million shares in the previous session.

The equity market’s turnover rose to 4.35 billion ‌Sri Lankan rupees ($12.96 million) from 1.09 billion rupees in ⁠the previous ⁠session, according to exchange data.

Foreign investors were net buyers, purchasing stocks worth 1.04 billion rupees, while domestic investors were net sellers, offloading shares worth 4.26 billion rupees, the data showed.
