Politics is nothing but charity- Ganesh Velayutham

In an exclusive interview given to the Tamil national newspaper Thinakaran ,the chief candidate of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB )for Jaffna electoral district Mr.Ganeswaran Velayutham said”Doing charity is the real politics. Politician should not focus on accumulating wealth for them and their family.But today most of the politicians are not like that.They use  politics as a means of making money for themselves. Such selfish politicians do not have humanity.Therefore they are not interested in serving  people in need. People should differentiate those people from service minded candidates and vote accordingly ” .

Mr.Velayutham  was  a former Tamil freedom fighter turned to be a  politician after spending more than a decade  in full time social service.He founded Sivan Foundation named  after  his late beloved son Sivan who was a special need child. He  runs  habitation an development centres for special needs children in various parts of the country.
